New years eve..

So it's new years eve today.. and I'm busy already.. haha.. cleaning my room... it's now spotless.. but tonight.. is new years and I know i haven't written anything since Xmas, and to the people who read my blog.. I am sorry..

I might write a post after 12 just to be pedantic.. and it'll be the first post of 2010. Wow 2010 it's been a decade already, It seems to have gone quite fast, it seems like yesterday when I was 9 celebrating the year 2000.. I think I had to go to bed early.. haha or maybe just after 12.. Remember when people thought that all the computers were going to crash in 2000...

Crap sorry my laptop crashed... haha..

only joking.. Honestly, I know it is bad to wish away years.. but I want to see what happens in 2012, "the end of days" haha... I don't believe none of that crap, but I think something, might happen.. like human kind realising it is a plague on the earth.. or we start to use more of our brains.. ? or maybe the world repositions the continents, as in mentioned in the film "2012" it seems feasable..

but enough rambling about that stuff.. haha.. people, Have fun today.. and Happy new year!

So, thats it for another yeah... Xmas is over, it'll probably be the same next year.. although i hope not. I didn't get alot for xmas, which is what I wanted really.. but what I did get was awesome..

I got a dragon statue, yes i like dragons.. whats wrong with that.. :P
and I also got some photos, which were awesome.. :P thanks.. :D

Xmas eve..

So, it's xmas eve, and i am up doing the vegetables for my mother... simon (my cousin) called me insane for doing it, but i guess that i wanted to do something because i haven't really done anything for my parents except make them cups of tea.. haha, since i got home.. And it is quite annoying, because i usually help out alot. But oh well.. preparing vegatibles isn't all it's cracked up to be, and xmas dinner should be great... :D especially with the pigs in blankets :D

It wouldn't quite be xmas without pigs in blankets.. I also so my friend rob, and his other half Kayleigh today.. and their little one... Ella... they're great.. i wish them a happy xmas, and I wish ella, an amazing first xmas, they will get better as they go on.. :D

On the Train..

Have you ever been on a train for more then an hour..? It really sucks, It is the worst feeling ever, because you get sleepy and bored then you try and read a book, and it seems to take forever to read a single page, then magically you get on a train that has Wi - fi, it's awesome, because then you can talk to people online, surf the net and whatnot.. but you can't watch videos and whatnot.. because it takes up the trains bandwith.. haha.. argh bloody sun in my eyes...

thats better.. so trains, but your only on the train with wi-fi for about 30 mins to an hour.. that really sucks.. but hopefully i won't have that long between my connections.. :D hopefully i will get some sleep when i get home.. after talking to some people...

Home...

So finally, it is here I go home in a few hours. It's going to be great. I can't wait to get into my own bed and sleep under my own covers. Don't get me wrong I like living alone/without the parents, but there is nothing like going home after the first semester of university, and having a home cooked meal. It is fantastic :D

On a more sombre note though, I will miss hull, even though I am going to be gone for a few weeks. I feel that Hull is now my home, I live living here.. it's good..

Home will be great.. the next post on here might just possible be from home, where I shall see some old "friends" and just hang out with my little brother. Home is a great place, but everyone needs to leave home eventually.. and I am kinda in the process of it.. haha

It's a good episode.. How disturbing would it be to have a mother like Leonards..? I would hate it, but I suppose that everyone resents having the mother they have in a way.. People just don't let it be known that they resent having their current mother.. (haha like you could have more then one biological mother.. ) but more on resentment maybe later... if I can be bothered. :P

what to write..?

I asked petra what i could write in my blog... and she came up with "christmas, snow, life, yourself..?" so i might write about thoes four in this one post..

So christmas first, or more commonly reffered to as Xmas by me, I don't really like religion..
Yes we are nearing that point where Xmas in upon us, once again. It's great isn't it..*sigh* I do love the xmas... NOT. I feel abit like scrooge really, yet this is the way that I wish to keep xmas.. As I said, xmas is near, so the family gets together again at this time of year, you see people you don't really want to, parents shouting at each other because one of the siblings has probobly done something wrong.. in my case my parents end up in an arguement because my little brother doesn't like prawns, so he "has to be different" in my old man's words. New presents will end up broken, Clothes get tossed in the cuboard.. It's just great..

Now Snow...
Snow in the UK is pretty much non existant, we get this slush, that is snow mixed with the rain and probably some mud or something.. so no snow for me! Yet now that I think about it, there was some decent snow last year in Hull, I should know I had some of it come through my window. But to reiterate Snow in the UK, doesn't really exist.

Next topic... Life.
Life.. Life.. Hmm life I suppose is okies, I have an excelent gaming console, 360 FTW, an okies laptop, that will decide to crash every once in a while, a decent phone, good friends, a few in particular.. So life is okies.. It would be better if i had some XBL.. but oh well

And finally myself..
what can I say about myself... Well, I'm Nick, I'm 19 years of age.. 20 in July.. I am quite short at 5 foot 4/5 umm... I am at university studying Chemistry, I like manga and anime, I like films, I like gaming. Oh an petra said that if i put down "a masculine guy without feelings", which is sometimes true, then i have to add in her words "that a girl recently gave you some estrogen" so I suppose I have a mix of testosterone and estrogen, which is true anyway (I think, I wasn't really that great at biology) but it seems that i was given some by a female friend of mine.. which sucks..

So maybe that is enough for this post.. ?

Cartoons/Anime/Manga?

Someone close to me, told me that it was extremely geeky to watch anime or read manga? Do you agree? I disagree with that person, okies I know I am geeky, but that is beside the point, I like watching anime, and I like to read, whether it is manga or books, I have many book that are manga, but the one I like reading the most is bleach. I know people will read this and think something like "ooo he likes it because it is a popular thing", wnd if you thought that, then you'd be WRONG I liked bleach before it became popular, before it was the latest trend I actually like it because it has a good story, and I keep away from Naruto because it seems to be so popular. but if i get any suggestions to read naruto, then I might..

I recently started watching Bleach from episode 1, and I forgot all about in intros and outros, my favourite intro was done by Aqua Timez, but i can't remember when it came about... :S Not cool. The 3 bleach movies are pretty good too, there is Memories of Nobody, Diamondust Rebellion: the other Hoyinmaru and Fade to Black. All of them have amazing story lines.. I reccomend them to anyone.

Generic random blog title...

So I have had my blog for three days now.. and I'm already out of things to write... :S crazy no..?
It's weird, I thought that having a blog would help somewhat, but it seems it hasn't. I thought that I would be able to say anything but it seems that I keep on censoring my self... :S Oh well, so more to the point, I know this girl, she's pretty awesome.. thats all you need to know.. My day has been pretty boring, except for when i am talking to this girl, i did some revision, whilst unusually watching strictly come dancing.. Then I left as soon as my housemates turned X factor.. Random generic X factor comment generated. The rest of my night has been spent talking to this girl, she makes me feel really special, which is really good..?

I'm not one for all this lovey dovey crap, but when a girl that you like is introduced into your life thigs kinda goes that way.. anyway.. love on my blog = nope.. so i like to keep it clean.. haha



I watched El Laberinto del Fauno, or in english Pan's Labyrinth, by Guillermo del Torro, and though it was awesome.. I like the fact it is in spannish too weirdly, it kind of reminds me of what I learn spannish wise at school, which I got a good grade in.

Inspiration..? maybe..? but he's a scientologist..

This clip, could be an inspiration to people..? it is to me.. to me this symbolises and reinforces the "never give up" attitude that one should have to most parts of life.. this clip tells me not to give up, even if i am being beaten to the ground by a scary ass japanese guy carrying a bokken.. which could symbolise the troubles in life..? Also i have to comment on the sword play by the actor who plays Ujio... quite magnificent really.. The film The last Samuari is a magnificent film in it's self, not just because i idolise the japanese culture, but because this film is a great portrayal of the old and new at war, striving to get along with each other.. and because it portrays the decline of Honor, which as is said at the start is a "forgotten word". This film is great, although the only problem is, that Tom Cruise plays the main role... maybe i don't like him because he is a scientologist, maybe because of other reasons.. i mean, pointless religions exist, and i completely dissagree with them.. but who am i to say anything.. Anyway, i don't think i have anything more to say on this matter.. if i do... i might post later..

The last samuari is a powerful film... 'nuff said..

yeah... i'm bored of talking about uni now... it's like school a bit.. but without the tellings off.. and the calling lectureres Mr or Mrs whatever.. it's fun... but it's alot of work too... it's all worth it in the end.. hopefully..
so it's the weekend.. what to do..? probably revise for tests, and do essays i might break it up with some 360.. it'll be okies..

Lectures..

so whilst i'm still on the topic of university.. i'll talk about my lectures... lectures... hmm so obviously my day is centered around learning chemistry... and i find it fun but i don't think the rest of the people i know would probably think its boring to learn about chemicals all day.. for instance today i learnt more about fullerenes, fullerenes are from my understanding carbon 20 upwards.. but enough bable about chemistry.. lectures are good.. thats all i can really say about them haha

university

so i'm at university... and it's great... my seccond year at uni.. but i'm in my first year.. confusing no..? its okies.. i am studing chemistry at the university of hull... it's a great university. It is beautiful.. i am quite proud to be a student there.. The first semester is nearly over already.. and it was quick.. it seems like it was only yesterday that i was getting back on the train to come back up here, i live no where near hull. And it'll be a week on monday when i go home again for xmas.. can't wait to go home.
